The Indonesian Ambassador sends off exports of Indonesian products to Brunei

 

"The Indonesian Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan is ready and always strives to support Indonesian business people who aim to increase the presence of Indonesian products in Brunei," said the Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Prof. Dr. Achmad Ubaedillah during the export release ceremony to Brunei at the location of the exporting company, PT. Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry in Cibitung on March 8 2024.

The VSL Systems (B) Sdn Bhd company, led by Managing Director, Acep Prasojo, imports a number of Indonesian products to support the 1000 House Development program in Brunei Darussalam. Apart from gypsum, VSL Systems also imports ceramics and other products from Indonesia.

The export sends off ceremony was attended by the President Director of PT. Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry, Chandra Alifen, along with the Commissioner and board of directors of PT Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry, and Mr. Acep Prasojo representing the importer. Representatives of the KADIN Asia Pacific Standing Committee and the Brunei Darussalam Bilateral Committee were also present at the ceremony.

In the 2018-2022 period, Indonesia's exports to Brunei recorded an increase every year. Nevertheless, bilateral trade between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam can still be increased to reach an optimal point. The Indonesian Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan has designed a number of programs to support increasing Indonesian exports to Brunei.
